“ I absolutely loved my chicken and waffles! It had toasted coconut, mango chile syrup, and perfectly fried chicken on top. It was absolutely delicious and worth all 16 tax. Our waiter, Kevin, was great! His suggestions for our table of 8 were right on point. I'm looking forward to my next visit. ”
“ Delicious place! We stayed next door at the belmont hotel and had made reservations for dinner here. We ended up arriving an hour early and they still were able to seat us immediately. Server was wonderful and food was great! Atmosphere was nice inside though the lighting was a little too dim for where we were sitting. Overall lovely place with good food! ”
“ Superb pulled pork eggs benedict, a Bloody Mary, and a single pancake instead of a full order. The very best single pancake I have ever eaten in my life. When Zagat says "worthy of a cheat day," this is what they're talking about. When I woke up this morning, I did not expect to meet the most celestial pancake I'd ever tasted. Such happy fortune took me totally by surprise and resonated throughout the day. When I was overheated and my energy flagged, I found a spot of shade; and, as it were, the sweet kiss of vanilla poached apricots and fresh clotted cream perched atop that perfect cloud of a pancake called to me: "Lo, today is your day. Go forth and make merry, relentlessly." ”
“ Its not a bad place to eat it has a good vive you can bring fammily/ or friends and have a good time. Not very pricy and the have good vriety in the bar side. Place has awards for being one of the best restaurants in oak cliff ”
“ Meat lovers paradise. The appetizers alone are fantastic. Don't forget to try the fried pimento cheese or the baked oysters! Drinks are pretty great too! ”
“ Great environment! Incredible food. This was the 2 meat plate with two sides. Best ribs I’ve ever had, bar none. The Mac-n-cheese was out of this world. ”
“ I've eaten quite a few places in Dallas and this has quickly become my favorite. I live in Mckinney so I've only eaten here twice and both times for breakfast. I don't know what magic they use but this is not just food......and this is not just eating. I suggest you relax and really enjoy the sheer pleasure of a fantastic meal. Your taste buds will rejoice. Breakfast is served until 11. Be there earlier because I heard them turn someone away at 10:50 who wanted breakfast. My son, who can be a bit passionate about coffee and pancakes, has said that these are the best pancakes in Dallas. So there you have it!! From what I can tell they really follow through with every aspect of the dining experience. You will not regret going. Update: This is where I chose you celebrate my birthday! I love love love this restaurant. Tracy is the best server and the food fantastic. My vegan daughter was able to order a meal of the fries, broccoli rabe and fresh fruit. I can't wait to go back. ”
“ Good service and good food. Came here for breakfast while passing through Dallas. It was little quiet on a Monday morning but I get a feeling they're quite busy at night. ”
